As a child with her sisters and winning a number of local talent contests, set the stage for what was to unfold for this lovely lady. With a haunting lovely voice tuned to perfect pitch, HELEN, showed early signs of blossoming into the gifted singer/musician/songwriter/performer she has become today.
HELEN has had songs recorded by a number of major artists, including The Oak Ridge Boys, Reba McEntire, Jeannie C. Riley, Connie Smith and Lynn Anderson - to mention a handful. While it was her song writing that first won her major credibility, it was the voice that RCA Record executives heard that won HELEN CORNELIUS her first major recording contract in 1975.
In 1980, HELEN hit the road as a headliner, for the first time. As her career has continued to blossom in the warm glow of the national spotlight, the tiny blonde entertainer has never stopped challenging herself. For HELEN CORNELIUS, the best moments of her career are not discussed as what was, or even as what is, but rather, what is-yet-to-be.
HELEN CORNELIUS has grown into a performer who can walk on stage, grab a crowd and hold it, right where she wants it ... in the palm of her hand!
